Pete DiLorenzo and Tim Goldschmidt (pictured left) took home the MVP and Manager of the Year awards, respectively, it was announced by the USOTB League. DiLorenzo was voted the league's Most Valuable Player by his peers, hitting a team-leading .471 with 36 RBI's and 34 runs scored. Goldschmidt was named Manager of the Year for a third time (1999, 2002) in leading the Reds to a 23-4 overall record and the squad's second state championship this past season.
